Our aim is to improve efficiency for primary care providers and we will continue to advocate for improved gastroenterology access on behalf of our patients.
Referrals will be reviewed within 5 business days. In general, confirmation of referral will be sent within five business days. Referrals are then triaged based on urgency and presence of alarm symptoms. After triaging, your office will receive an estimated booking timeline.
In order to optimize the referral process for your patients, we have included a list of recommended tests for common referrals that we see. Please consider ordering these investigations prior to your referral, if appropriate. Including these tests in your referral allows us to better triage and take care of your patient.
